Join Mad Science of Detroit for a show that will blow you away!  During this event, experiments demonstrating the principles of air and pressure will captivate you!

Build your Lego masterpiece or just have fun playing with our (literally) millions of Legos!  Proud of your masterpiece?  Display it in the library!

Play Bingo with some of your favorite children's book covers instead of numbers!  Get a bingo?  Get a book!  Prize books generously provided by the Friends of the Highland Library! 

Our friends from Huron Valley State Bank will visit us for a storytime and craft!  Whether you’re learning to pinch pennies or learning needs vs wants, this storytime will help teach children about finances.

Bring dinner and enjoy visiting with other book club members.  We will discuss a different book each month then play a game, engage in an activity, or make a craft that relates to it.

Does your child need a bit of reading practice?  Ruby, a sweet Certified Therapy Dog, will happily listen quietly without putting any pressure on your reader.

Try your hand at making candy sushi - a sugar rush of fun!  Then play some games to practice your chopsticks skills!  Please let us know of any food allergies or intolerances so we can ensure your child can fully participate.

Getting out of school early today?  Swing by the library to unwind with a movie and some snacks.  Drop in - no need to register!

Movies will start at 1pm and 3pm.  Titles to be announced!
