Working Together to Develop Early Literacy Skills
While infants and toddlers aren’t ready to read just yet, parents and caregivers can learn and practice ways to help children develop a strong foundation for important literacy skills. This workshop will help participants understand the importance of reading on grade level by 3rd grade, learn and understand the components of early literacy such as experiential writing, communicating, vocabulary, and reading and rhyme with infants and toddlers, learn to detect the signs of early literacy difficulties and receive resources to support early literacy development.
Brought to us by MSU Extension. Please register for these classes. MiRegistry Training Hours (1.5 per class) and/or certificates of attendance can be provided.
