The library is partnering with the Highland Garden Club to once again host Master Gardener Ellen Zimmerman for her Pruning Primer presentation.

Have you ever wondered how to properly prune shrubs, trees and other common garden plants? Enjoy an evening of learning pruning basics, including the proper tools to use, best time of year and regenerative pruning. Other tips and techniques will leave you feeling like a pruning professional.

About the presenter:

Ellen Zimmerman has been gardening in White Lake since 2004, and she has been a Master Gardener volunteer since 2010. Ellen's gardens are ever evolving as she expands and experiments each year. Gardening provides her with hours of enjoyment as she works to surround her home with beautiful plants. Her family enjoys the fruits of her labors from their vegetable gardens, native fruit trees and berry patches.
