Let's Dish!
Join our new cooking club. Grab your apron and gather with fellow foodies for a fun afternoon of tasting, sampling and sharing favorite recipes. Each member will bring a prepared dish to share, along with the recipe.
July's theme is Farm to Table. This month, we will celebrate the peak of the growing season by featuring locally grown, seasonal ingredients. (Hot tip: You can visit the Highland Farmer's Market on Saturdays to find garden fresh ingredients from local farms!) Or, just check out the produce section of the grocery store for favorites like peaches, cucumbers, cantaloupe, sweet corn, berries, tomatoes and so much more.
There will be a selection of cookbooks available for checkout, but you are free to use whatever recipes you love. You can go with "Tried and True" or "New to You" recipes - either way we have fun discussing and sampling all the different recipes.
All skill levels welcome.
