Deer & Rabbit Resistant Plantings & Critter Deterrents 

Join Cathy Coulson as she takes a deep dive into different ways to keep animals out of your garden as well as products that stop them from eating your plants.  Cathy will also recommend many perennials that are unappetizing to critters!

Cathy Coulson has been an avid gardener since 2008 and became a Michigan State University Master Gardner in 2018.  She has 15 years of experience in garden centers in Illinois and Michigan and has been the Garden Center Manager at Bock’s Pet & Garden in Pickney since 2020.  Cathy has volunteered in, designed, planted and maintained many Michigan gardens and has a passion for sharing beneficial techniques to keep gardens healthy.

This program is presented in partnership with the Highland Garden Club. 

Doors open at 6 for seating and refreshments, presentation begins at 6:30.
