AARP TaxAide in person registration begins

IN PERSON registration for AARP TaxAide begins today, Friday, January 2nd, 2026.  

Ask at the adult reference desk and we'll be happy to make an appointment for you.

We will host AARP for free tax filing in our Community Room every other Thursday beginning on February 5th.  

2026 dates are 2/5, 2/19, 3/5, 3/19 & 4/2.  First appointments are at 10am and our last appointments are at 3pm.

Telephone registration will start on Thursday, January 22nd.  We will not be mailing out confirmation & intake forms; they are available in person or via email.

Trained volunteers from AARP will prepare and file your taxes for FREE.  Appointments must be made in advance and are 1 hour long.  For seniors and low-to-moderate income taxpayers without complicated returns.
